Corvette Super Sports Ð General Meeting Minutes

Proceedings

The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by President Greg Glodery.   It was determined that a quorum was present before continuing with the meeting.

The general meeting minutes were accepted as submitted in May.  Joe Orrico made a motion to accept and Steve McDaniel seconded the motion.

Old Business

1.                   Gimmick Rallye and Class.  The rallye class on Saturday, May 22 was a great success.  Doug and Ann Meeuwenberg couldnÕt have done it without the help of the Kumps, NorrisÕ and Brodys.  There were 44 participants and 19 cars on the course.  Even the veterans learned something new.  Rick and Lynn Miller had Òlots of funÓ even if they got lost but they thought the rallye was done very well.  Cindy Ripley and Joe Orrico had the best score.

Thank you Doug and Ann for a job well done!

2.                   NCCC and NCM Happenings.  Ellis Chee was not present at tonightÕs meeting.  Was it because he and Cindy were babysitting three grandchildren over the long holiday weekend and needed some time to recoup?  What love and dedication.

3.                   CSS Club Annual Car Show.  Chairman Steve McDaniel will contact the sub-chair heads to meet after the Board meeting on Tuesday, June 15th.  The ElkÕs trustees met on the evening of May 26th and decided the rental fee for the facility will be $300 with a $200 security deposit.  Donna Stewart took a check this evening to deliver to the ElkÕs Club.  Steve also reminded the club members to start collecting donations for the raffle prizes.  Please give them to Marietta Darke.

4.                   Charity Business.   Marietta Darke couldnÕt attend the meeting and there was nothing new to report.

The Stillwell Challenge goal is $20 per member but this is not mandatory.  Anything you can contribute would be deeply appreciated and will be equally divided between H.I.S. House, Kids Sake and Gary StillwellÕs employeesÕ choice of charity.  Please remember your contribution is tax deductible.
