MINUTES OF THE CORVETTE SUPER SPORTS GENERAL MEETING

November 2, 2004

The meeting was called to order by president Greg Glodery at 7:10 P.M. after it was determined there was a quorum.

A motion was made by Joe Orrico and seconded by Tom Cuccio to approve the minutes as submitted.

PAST EVENTS

Many members enjoyed the party hosted by Dave and Ilona Alciatore at their new home in Fallbrook. It is lovely. We were also able to tour Ellia and Cindy Chee's home about five miles away. It is equally lovely.

Several members participated in the photo shoot for the Corvette Calendar. Some members' cars were featured, and we can sell the calendar for $15.00 as a fund raiser.

TREASURER'S REPORT

Ann reported that we now have 101 renewing members, and 99 NCCC members. We still need to decide how much money to contribute to our charities.

OLD BUSINESS

The officers and board of directors agreed that the cost of the Annual Banquet will be reduced by $10.00 for each person's dinner. The total will be $32.00 each and should be paid at the December meeting. If you cannot attend, please send the money to Ann at her home before December 31, 2004.

Another decision made by the officers and board of directors was to add another position to the list of officers. The newsletter will be one position and the webmaster will be another. In order to have an uneven number in the event of a tie, a 6th board of directors position will be added, making a total of 13.

NEW BUSINESS

The nominations for next year's officers are as follows:

President - Greg Glodery

Vice President - Tom Wilcox

Secretary - Lynne Miller

Treasurer - Ann Meeuwenberg

NCCC - Ellis Chee

Newsletter - Mike Cooper

Webmaster - Bruce Romick

AT the December meeting, nominations can still be made before we vote. Those wishing to serve on the board of directors will stand and we will vote at that time. If you cannot attend, please send your choices to our P.O. Box before the meeting on the 7th.

Greg welcomed Jeff Henninger, a found member of CSS. He and his wife Peggy live in Indiana.

He also welcomed back Phil Villalobos after his recent surgery.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Marietta reminded everyone about the John Force Holiday Car Show on December 5th. This will benefit CHiPs for Kids. Please bring a $10.00 unwrapped toy.

Ellis reported that members will soon receive their NCCC membership packets.

Please remember to save pull tops for Ronald McDonald House.

Rick Miller showed an Italian charm bracelet and told us he can obtain CSS charms and Corvette logs. If you are interested, please contact him.

PRIZES

Jim Raymond won the dinner raffle. Jeff Henninger won $42.00 in the 50/50 raffle. Other winners were: Joe Orrico (twice), Jeff Henninger, Ron Jobes, Jay Lynch and Bob Kump.

Special thanks to Hazel Beidleman for the delicious refreshments. Greg also thanked her for the biography she wrote about Hal Oberman. He wants to include a member's biography in each newsletter.

Everyone is reminded to bring goodies to the December meeting.

Tom Cuccio made a motion and Joe Orrico seconded it to adjourn the meeting at 8:10 P.M.
